Whether you have installed Guest Additions and/or Host Extensions (this solves 90% of the problems we see) Whether you have enabled VT-x/AMD-V (applicable to all hosts running 6.1 and above) and disabled HyperV (applicable to Windows 10 Hosts) This is just a friendly reminder in case you missed it. Thanks AutoModerator!Įdit: My problem is now fixed, thank you everyone I have no Guest Additions or Host Extensions. I have enabled AMD-V, HyperV I have never heard of, so I guess I didn't activate that one. I am running Version 6.1.22 r144080 on Windows 10, my guest OS is Kali Linux. Oh, and I also tried remapping that, but it doesn't change anything, Virtual box also shows me in the corner, that the host-key is being pressed, but I can't get it to work. I tried pressing "host key+ß", I tried "host key+Ctrl+alt+ß", I pretty much tried any combination, also to test if I even have the right layout set, but any combination seems to work, except the ones that I would need my host-key for. I tried writing a "\" since quite some time now in Kali Linux and I just can't get it to work. If you know what my problem could be, please tell me: I already searched all sorts of forums and tried reccomended fixes but it just doesn't work out. Am I missing something? If I understood it right, the host-key replaces "Ctrl+alt" but if I got that wrong, please tell me.
